Cruise calendar

Departing on a cruise with a steamship takes a bit more time than with those ordinary diesel cruisers: one has to start heating the boiler about 2 days prior to the cruise. This is why we try sell charter cruises next to each other in a short period of time.

So when you are planning your own cruise, take a look at the calendar below: the Finnish text "varaa omasi!" (meaning "reserve your own cruise!") indicates the days when the boiler is heated, and thus the ship is most likely ready to go.
This is a bit exceptional compared to the normal "customer-driven" business logic, but one has to remember that "s/s Näsijärvi II" is totally operated by voluntary workers and all the income from the cruises goes to maintenance of the ship.

But if there is no "varaa omasi"-text written on the date you would like to cruise on, please don't hesitate to contact us and ask for a cruise on Lake Näsijärvi - someone has to be the first to order!
